Alyssa Had A Great Birthday Week
First she got to open presents from us! This was her favorite from us, a turtle pillow pet.
She has been asking for one since the beginning of summer!
She wanted a jewelry box like Taby has that I had painted. I found this one and the designs were already drawn on it like a coloring page. I just had to paint it. I didn't want to loose the features using acrylic paint, so I used my gel pens and coated it with a clear sealer. It took a long time coloring in the background!!
Alyssa loved it and put in all her new earrings she got for her birthday!
I don't have any pics of her opening presents because I took video. I am still trying to learn how to edit it! Doug wasn't home but got to watch her open presents using Face Time. It's kinda like skype!
Then we went to Grammy & Grandad's for more presents and cake!!
Aunt Kathleen bought her this super cute dress!! She wants to wear it already, I told her she had to wait till it cools down a bit!
Grammy & Grandad got her a Chealsy doll (Barbies kid sister), earrings, some glamorous barbie clothes, and clips for her hair. I took more pictures than this but she was moving too much and they were blurry or her hair was in her face LOL, I think she was excited!
Alyssa wanted a Turtle Cake on her actual birthday, it was strawberry and we made Grandad eat the butt!!! The kids thought it was hilarious!
On Thursday she got a Birthday card from Joe, Udrika, Matt, & Trevor with $20 in it!
On Friday I took her to the store and this is what she picked out!! Toddler Rapunzel!
Saturday was the Big Party with her friends from school!
She wanted to go to an arcade so we got a Birthday package deal at the Alley!
It was called
TOKEN EXPLOSION!
She invited Shannon, Vanessa, Victoria, Riley, and Zachary.
Of course Tabitha & Johnny were there too!
The kids each got 30 tokens, 50 prize tickets to start with, a drink with refills, pizza, and a free bowling certificate for next time!
Alyssa also got another 100 prize tickets and a souvenir cup.
They got tons of prizes and had a lot of fun playing the different games!
Her cousin Zachary was cracking me up so much. He got the most prize tickets because there is a wheel of fortune type game where you put in 6 tokens and then spin the wheel and you can win up to 1,000 tokens. He won 150 on his first try and said "This is the best game because you can get waaaaaay more tickets!!" He played again and won another 70!
I'm taking him gambling with me when he gets older!!! LOL
After they all got their prizes we had pizza in our private party room and then Alyssa opened her presents form everyone!
She got a lot of neat stuff! You might notice that there are no boys
in the pictures, they were busy with their prizes!! They weren't too interested in girl toys, LOL!
After presents we had cake! Alyssa wanted a pink Guitar cake!
So I of course made her one!!
Fortunately for me, they make a guitar shaped pan!!
It was Chocolate with Buttercream YUM!!
After the party we went to Grammy & Grandad's to get Alyssa's present from Dianna, Blake, Cooper, Carson, and Camden!
BARBIE RAIN BOOTS!!
Jenny, Jeff, Zach, Riley, and Lily had gotten Alyssa an UMBRELLA!!
She REALLY wanted these two things also!
Here is Alyssa yesterday using it for shade! She also had to wear the boots!!!
Such a silly girl!
I think she had a pretty good birthday =)
