First Day Of School

YESTERDAY WAS THE GIRL'S FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

We got up bright and early! The girl's actually got up pretty quickly.

I give this behavior about a week. After that it will take the jaws of

life to get them out of bed!

Here is Alyssa at her new desk. She was super happy to see her

new room and old friends. She really likes her new teacher and

had a great first day!

Here is Taby in her new room. She was happy to see her friends

and likes her new teacher a lot.

What we did this Summer!

We went to The Wichita Riverfest!

Alyssa had Summer School

She learned a lot and had fun!

She did such a good job at Summer School that

we let her get her ears pierced a little early

We celebrated Father's Day and got

Daddy a bunch of cool M&M stuff!

Aunt Jenny had a fun scavenger hunt at

Grammy & Grandad's

Aunt Dianna held the 2011 Summer Olympics

The kids were wore out by the end

but had a TON of fun!!

We defended the house from whatever it was that

Johnny seemed to think we needed defending from!

We made cool 3D wooden puzzles

a Swan, an Antique Car, and a Helicopter

We rode bikes!

(when it wasn't SUPER hot outside)

We threw an Ice-Tea Party

Alyssa got her hair cut

And We Celebrated Daddy's Birthday

I made a cake to look like a candy bowl its kit-kat bars and M&M's

So there it is our eventful Summer!
