Saturday night was the Girl Scout's Me & My Guy Dance

Taby and Alyssa were so excited to get all dressed up to go and dance with Daddy.

Doug actually wore a tie!! They clean up nice don't they?

Alyssa was glad to see her friend Vanessa there with her sister and Dad.

The girls each got a pink carnation! I think Taby is making a wish on hers.

They had a yummy dinner of deli sandwiches and there was cake too!

Then it was time for some dancing!! The girls did dance with daddy, but he couldn't take pictures of that. They also found some other friends from school to dance with! Lyssa found Shannon and Evelyn too!

The girls had such a great time!! They stayed until the end at 9 PM!!

Taby had a shawl in case she got cold, but it was pretty warm inside and instead the girl's and their friends took turns playing "get married". Here is Taby as the Bride!

Taby and Alyssa also got special fun patches to put on their uniforms to remember their special night with Dad! They were so excited and had a wonderful time!! Thanks for a great Valentine's date Daddy!!

So far in 2011

This year has started out ok, we have been quite busy.

Alyssa decided to grow out her bangs.

(Then of course Taby did too)

She has also discovered her talent.

Seriously, that's what she said, and then looks at me with the widest eyes you've ever seen!

Taby celebrated her 8TH Birthday!!! 8 years old already!

She bought a Happy Birthday Wine Glass with her birthday money.

She likes to put grape juice in it and pretend she is drinking wine.

She's a ding -dong. =)

We got snowed in for 2 days!

The kids loved having 2 days off of school!

Thank goodness for DS games

Johnny got a caterpillar toy from his preschool teacher Miss Eva.

His name is Caterpillar and he's a boy. And he acts a lot like our cat does.

Meaning he likes to lick people.

Well that's it for now. I know what your thinking, what an exciting life we do lead.

Alyssa's 6th Birthday!

Alyssa's Birthday was Monday August 23rd, but it seemed to last all week long!

First on Sunday, the day before her birthday, we gave her the presents from us and took her to Red Robins for dinner. Daddy works Monday nights so he wouldn't have been able to see her.

Then on her birthday I made mini cupcakes and brought them to school.

We also had Grammy, Grandad, and Aunt Amy over for cake and fudge bars

Then on Saturday we had a Bowling party with all her younger cousins!

Lyssa Wanted gift cards or money for her presents because she wanted to buy a "Barbie" doll house. Here she is at Target after her purchase

She was sooooooo happy! She couldn't wait for mommy to put it together.

I could wait, but she looked at me with those big blue eyes and I of course went straight to work.

It took me an hour to put together! Doug had to help me with some of it because it was so big!

First Days of School

The Girls had their first day of School last week on August 18th.

They had a great first week and really like their teachers.
